I had the great pleasure of supervising the music for several key scenes and montages in this gripping documentary. We drew on classic rock staples — including American Hall of Famers the BoDeans and Danish indie favorites Thee Attacks. The film premiered in Norwegian cinemas on October 10 and has since earned glowing reviews.

Inspired by one of the greatest achievements in climbing history, legendary mountaineer Robert Caspersen and his team embark on an expedition to the Himalayas, driven by a dream to become the first to summit one of the world’s highest rock faces, Trango Pulpit.

The Norwegian expedition of 1984 was groundbreaking,  a milestone in international climbing history, but it also carried a dark undercurrent that left a lasting mark on the climbing community.

The story follows two expeditions, fifteen years apart, revealing the extreme risks, personal sacrifices, and the lifelong pursuit of impossible dreams in some of the world’s most brutal mountain terrain.
